Here are the steps to integrate your Voiceflow Agent with Telegram:

After creating the client profile on FlowBridge, and after you have created the Voiceflow project, you now need to head over to the “Client Integrations” tab.

On FlowBridge:

• Select which company the integration is for (which client)
• Select which project you want to use
• Click on ‘next’
• Give the integration a name and click ‘next’
• Select channel ‘Telegram’
• Under the token input field, you can paste in the token for the bot API (This you can obtain from @BotFather on telegram (https://t.me/BotFather)

Additional variables

FlowBridge set's a couple of variables that are available to you in your Voiceflow project. To use these variables you need to add the variable in your project, and they will be automatically populated. So if you want to grab the name of the user, you would need to create the variable user_name in your voiceflow project. These are the variables we set:

• user_name This contains the first name of the user's account.
• channel - This contains the channel the user is communicating on. It will be "telegram" for WhatsApp conversations.
• telegram_id - This contains the telegram id of the user sending the message. This can be used for further processing or saving in to a database
